Galatasaray have moved quickly to counter the huge offer by Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal to Victor Osimhen by also improving the striker’s salary.
Al Hilal will now pay Osimhen 40 Million Euros a year for four years as they step up their pursuit of the striker.
According to Turkish newspaper Sabah, Galatasaray have now offered to pay Osimhen 18 Million Euros a year plus other attractive bonuses.
They hope this will give them a fighting chance against the Jumbo deal Al Hilal have made to the player.
Galatasaray paid Osimhen 12 Million Euros after tax when he played on loan from Napoli last season.
They initially proposed to pay him 16 Million Euros annually on permanent four-year contract.
Osimhen has yet to decide on his next destination as he continues to enjoy his vacation in Lagos.
