Striker Promise David has ended speculations over his future by signing a new contract with Belgian champions Union St.Gilloise.
The new deal keeps him at the Brussels club until the summer of 2029.
‘Tobi’, who opted to play for Canada instead of the Super Eagles, has only been playing for Union since last summer.
In 41 matches he scored 24 goals in his debut season.
In the last match of the Championship Playoffs against KAA Gent he made the difference with two goals.
He already had a contract until the summer of 2027, but now signs for two years.
Since his arrival at Union, he has also become an international for Canada and scored on his debut against Ukraine.
