Top Transfer Expert Fabrizio Romano has disclosed that Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal are the favourites to sign Victor Osimhen.
He said the Saudis will not only meet the 75 Million Euros release clause of the striker, but they can also afford a high salary for the player, which the Premier League clubs cannot.
“The last name we have to mention is Victor Osimhen because the Saudi club need a striker and the Nigerian is a concrete target,” Romano told Dazn Transfer
“Release clause of 75 million euros, now he has returned to Napoli from the loan at Galatasaray, Osimhen could be the new striker of Simone Inzaghi.
“Now let’s give Al Hilal some time to sign all the documents with Inzaghi in the next 24 hours.”
The Transfer Expert continued: “As for Osimhen, the Saudis will face some opposition from the Premier League, he was already a target for Chelsea and Manchester United a year ago, let’s see what happens now.
“He is a perfect profile for the Premier League, but there’s a big problem regarding the financial aspect of the deal. Not only the 75 million euros (release clause), but also the salary.
“It is a high salary, 12 Million euros net per season.
“For Saudi Arabia, it is not a big salary. For the Premier League, it is a big salary, and that is why probably the Saudis are the big favourites to buy Victor Osimhen.”
