Michael Oluwayemi has said he is thrilled to extend his contract with Swedish club Ostersund FK through to the 2027 season.
The 19-year-old midfielder moved to Sweden last year from TikiTaka International.
He said he hopes to develop further so that he could be sold and make good money for Ostersund.
“It feels good, I’m happy about it. The team have given me the chance to show what I can do and I have done that. I want to do even more to hopefully be sold to another club in the long term and in this way generate money for ÖFK,” he told Östersunds-Posten.
This season, Oluwayemi has played seven matches in Superettan so far, starting two of them
