The Flying Eagles currently lead their Egyptian counterparts and 2025 U20 AFCON hosts by a goal in a warm-up game at the Cairo International Stadium.
The Flying Eagles goal was scored after 10 minutes through Norway-based striker Kparobo Arierhi, who was the team’s leading scorer when they won the WAFU B qualifiers last year in Togo.
The U20 AFCON will kick off Sunday in Cairo.
The Flying Eagles open their campaign on May 1 against Tunisia.
Morocco and Kenya are the other teams in Group B.
