Victor Osimhen is one of the most sought-after players in the world today so much so that he could play for any team he wishes, according to the agent who brought him to Galatasaray.
Ahead of the summer transfer window, Osimhen has been linked with top clubs in the Premier League, Barcelona, PSG and Saudi Arabia.
George Gardi was behind the striker’s shock switch to Turkey and he has now spoken on the player’s future.
“Osimhen is currently at Galatasaray due to his availability for transfer. He is a top player, a champion. He can play for any team he wishes,” the agent said.
“I can clearly say that he is very happy at Galatasaray right now and wants to enjoy every moment of it.
“He will make his decision about his future when this journey is complete.”
Gardi has been reported as the man who now plans to take Osimhen to Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal.
The agent categorically denied this.
“These claims are completely unfounded,” he maintained.
“When Victor came to Galatasaray, he promised me he will not sign for any club before the end of the season. And he kept his promise despite the high offers.
“There’s no such thing as ‘taking’ a player like Osimhen anywhere. The biggest clubs in the world want him; he doesn’t need anyone to chart his own path.”
