Victor Osimhen and Galatasaray top the standings in the Turkish Super Lig, but his Super Eagles teammate Bright Osayi-Samuel said he believes it will be his team Fenerbache who will be champions with seven rounds of matches to the end of the season.
Fenerbache are three points behind bitter city rivals Galatasaray after 29 matches.
Interestingly, Osimhen scored the goals that eliminated Fenerbache from the Turkish Cup.
However, Osayi-Samuel said he believes his club will win their remaining seven matches to upstage Galatasaray for the league championship.
“We need to focus on ourselves. We have seven important matches. I think we will be champions if we win all the matches.,” he said after Fenerbahce won 3-1 at Sivasspor.
“It was a valuable three points to continue on our way steadily.
“Every match we play is a final. Now we will focus on the next match.”
