The Flying Eagles today received a massive boost ahead of the U20 AFCON in Egypt following the arrival to their Abuja training camp of Kparobo Arierhi, who was the star when the team won the WAFU B championship last year.
Kparobo was not listed on the 35-man squad for training camp in Abuja to spark fears he will not be released by his new Norwegian club Lillestrom for the U20 AFCON in Egypt.
The former Beyond Limits striker scored thrice including a brace in the final of the WAFU B final against arch-rivals Ghana in Lome, Togo.
The team, who were today drawn in an easier-looking first round group that has Tunisia, Morocco and Kenya, will depart for Egypt this week for a final training camp for the U20 AFCON.
