Like Galatasaray have already admitted, there are several top clubs across Europe who wish to sign Victor Osimhen this summer.
And now according to Corriere dello Sport, the club in the Premier League who are now in pole psotion to sign the 26-year-old striker are Liverpool.
“Liverpool have made further progress after trying in August,” the newspaper reported.
“They are always at the forefront and they have made it clear they are ready to pay.”
The newspaper also listed other clubs interested in signing Osimhen.
They are PSG, Manchester United, Juventus and Barcelona as well as top Saudi Arabian clubs Al Hilal and Al Nassr.
Osimhen’s current club Galatasaray cannot also be dismissed from signing him permanently in the summer.
Their 65 Miilion Euros offer was rejected by Napoli in January.
They have now tabled an improved bid.
