Super Eagles call-up Anthony Dennis has expressed confidence the team to fly past both Rwanda and Zimbabwe to get their 2026 World Cup qualification campaign back on track.
The Goztepe midfield star was named on the Super Eagles provisional squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe, but he did not make the final cut.
“These two games won’t be easy, but I believe the team will give everything to put smiles on the faces of Nigerians,” Dennis told SCORENigeria
“The players know just homw important these two qualifiers are.”
Dennis, 20, has been outstanding in the Turkish Super Lig this season and was rewarded with his first-ever call-up by the Super Eagles.
“It was the happiest day of my life when I got my invitation to the Super Eagles,” he revealed.
“I really didn’t expect it, but I also know that I have worked so hard and that my hard work was being monitored as well.”
