Super Eagles will get a second masked striker after Victor Osimhen following reports that Taiwo Awoniyi is also working on having a face mask after he broke his nose in an FA Cup tie.
He is now undergoing the fitting of a face mask which he will wear once he has got the green light to play again, according to nottinghampost.com
He is set to return for next Sunday’s Premier League clash at Newcastle United.
Osimhen has been wearing a protective mask since he suffered serious facial injuries that required surgery in November 2021.
