Chuba Akpom makes goal-scoring debut in Ligue 1

Chuba Akpom came off the bench to score on his Ligue 1 debut for Lille.

Relegation strugglers Le Havre raced to a 2-0 lead at Lille only for the striker, who moved on loan to France from Ajax in the recent transfer window, to halve the deficit deep into stoppage time.

Despite the home loss, Lille are fifth in the standings and remain in the bracket for the UEFA Europa League with 35 points from 21 matches.
