Sevilla coach Garcia Pimienta has effectively put an end to Kelechi Iheanacho’s time at the Spanish La Liga club.
The coach has said the Super Eagles striker will as a result soon decide his next destination.
“Kelechi Iheanacho doesn’t have what it takes to compete in Spain, he will decide his next club soon,” Pimienta said.
Iheanacho has yet to score in nine La Liga appearances.
The striker joined Sevilla as a free agent after his contract at Leicester City ran out.
The 28-year-old Iheanacho signed a contract until 2026.
He has been linked to English Championship leaders Leeds United, but his hefty salary has been a stumbling block.
Scottish champions Celtic and Middlesbrough in the English Championship are the latest suitors for ‘Senior man Kels’.
