Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle will be part of the draw for the 2025 AFCON in Rabat, Morocco, Monday, SCORENigeria can report.
It will be his first major appearance since he was appointed the Super Eagles new boss.
Nigeria are expected to get a favourable draw for the next AFCON, which will be hosted by Morocco, after their superb run at the 2023 AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire.
The Super Eagles were only denied a fourth AFCON draw by inspired hosts Cote d’Ivoire in the championship game.
They since won their qualifying group for the 2025 AFCON, which will be staged from December 2025.
The Super Eagles are also among the top six ranked African teams on the FIFA Rankings and could therefore head one of the first round groups and that way avoid the continent’s top teams including hosts Morocco.
