Top Turkish club Trabzonspor have relaunched their bid to sign striker Paul Onuachu.
Onuachu enjoyed a great loan spell at Trabzonspor last season.
However, the Turkish team could not come up with the cash to sign him on a permanent deal from Premier League club.
According to Fanatik, Southampton are shopping for a striker to score the goals for them to escape relegation from the Premier League and so may now be more favourably disposed to let go Onuachu.
Trabzonspor sports director Senol Gunes has got in touch with Southampton, while Onuachu and his agent are positive for the transfer.
The Turkish team could either loan him again or buy him on a permanent basis.
