Tolu Arokodare may be one of the leading scorers in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League and his club Genk top of the table, but he has been left out of the Best XI for the first round of the championship.
According to the special selection by Voetbalkrant, Danish striker Kasper Dolberg of Anderlecht was picked ahead of Arokodare as the top striker of the first round best team.
Dolberg will spearhead the attack in a 4-3-3 formation flanked by two wingers.
Dolberg, who has scored 10 goals, one goal more than Arokodare, was described as “very complete” and “approaching his best-ever level”.
The big Nigerian striker was instead named on the bench of this slection.
