Man of the 2024 U20 WAFU Cup Final, Kparobo Arierhi, has been tipped for bigger things by former African Footballer of the Year Victor Ikpeba.
Ikpeba was involved in the formative years of Super Eagles star Wilfred Ndidi at Nath Boys and he may have unearthed another gem in Kparobo.
“We first saw him at my 5-a-side tournament in Warri and he has been growing ever since,” he told SCORENigeria
“At Beyond Limits Academy he is in the best environment to get to the next level.
“He’s a young lad and it’s still early days, he is a big talent and I hope he fulfills his potentials.”
Kparobo, 17, was joint leading scorer for the champions Flying Eagles at the U20 WAFU B Championship with three goals.
He fired a brace in the final for the Flying Eagles to beat Ghana 3-1 and retain the sub-regional championship.
