Kano Pillars not only lost 1-0 at Nasarawa United but were also slammed two Million Naira fine after captain Ahmed Musa openly criticised the officiating of the match.
The NPFL said the disparaging comments of Ahmed Musa are capable of bringing the game to disrepute.
Kano Pillars player Ugochukwu Gabriel was also suspended for nine matches for unruly conduct.
The Kano club have also been warned against publishing inflammatory statements and advised to use appropriate channels to register their complaints.
