Despite netting a brace in a UEFA Europa League tie against Manchester United, striker Samu Omorodion has said he is disappointed FC Porto failed to defend their lead in the game.
“We left upset, as the team reacted well after losing 0-2. I’m very upset, but we have to keep working to win the next games,” the young striker widely compared to Victor Osimhen told the FC Porto official website.
“After the two goals conceded, we knew how to react and turned things around, but we were punished from a set piece. Still, I’m proud of the team’s work.
“I feel very good, but sad about the draw.”
Omorodion has now scored seven goals for Porto in just six games as he is now on a five-game scoring run.
