The Super Eagles will get off to a winning start in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers by beating Benin 2-0 today, according to former Super Eagles defender Abbey George.
“It will be 2-0 for the Super Eagles with a clean sheet,” predicted George.
“Coach Gernot Rohr (Benin coach) is a defensive coach, he will try to hit us on the break, but we have the firepower to beat them.”
In June, Benin shocked the Super Eagles 2-1 in a 2026 World Cup qualifier in Abidjan.
