Despite his well-documented problems with FECAFOOT boss Samuel Eto’o in Cameroon, Belgian coach Marc Brys may not consider a chance to head the Super Eagles.
According to Het Nieuwsblad, Brys has been contacted by Nigeria to succeed Finidi George, whose resignation has not yet been accepted by the NFF.
Brys has not denied the rumours linking him to Nigeria, but at the same time made it clear that he feels good in Cameroon despite his public rows with Eto’o.
The experienced coach led the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon to beat Cape Verde and draw 1-1 with Angola.
Cameroon now lead their 2026 World Cup qualifying Group D with eight points from four matches, a point ahead of Libya.
