Super Eagles stars Ademola Lookman, Kelechi Iheanacho and Maduka Okoye flew directly back to their European bases from Abidjan.
Ademola Lookman played the entire game against Benin, while Iheanacho and Okoye were unused subs.
Iheanacho, for one, is working on a transfer as a free agent after his contract with Leicester City ran out.
The rest of the Super Eagles squad as well as NFF officials returned to Nigeria early Tuesday morning.
Part of the delegation dropped off in Abuja, while the other half landed in Lagos.
The next international break for the Super Eagles will be September 2-10.
