Wilfred Ndidi scored for the second straignt English Championship game as Leicester City smashed past Southampton 5-0 to stay on track for a return to the Premier League.
However, fellow Super Eagles star Kelechi Iheanacho was not even on the matchday squad for the second straight game as his future at the club remains uncertain.
There have been no reports the striker is injured
Both Iheanacho and Ndidi will be free agents this summer when their contracts run out.
Ndidi scored Leicester City second goal with a superb header on 62 minutes against a Southampton side, who have hit good form as they also battle to return to the Premier League.
The midfielder,27, has now scored four goals in the Championship this season.
Leicester City, relegated from the Premier League last season, are four points clear at the top of the table with 94 points from 44 matches with two rounds of games to the end of the regular season.
The top two teams are automatically promoted to the Premier League.

Congratulations to Ndidi for his goal and Leicester City’s impressive win! 🎉👏 It’s unfortunate that Iheanacho wasn’t in the squad, but the team seems to be charging towards the Premier League nonetheless. ⚽🔵 #LCFC #PromotionCharge
