South African club Chippa United got a huge 2-0 home win over former champions in the DSTV Premiership Kaizer Chiefs even keeping a clean sheet in the process.
However, Super Eagles shot-stopper Stanley Bobo Nwabali was not on the matchday squad for the ‘Chilli Boys’.
According to the player’s representative, SCORENigeria has it on good terms that Nwabali is not injured, but has an accumulation of yellow cards (four) which ruled him out of the clash against Kaizer Chiefs
In his place, South Africa U23 goalkeeper Darren Johnson was brilliant to record a clean sheet.
Nwabali will be back for Chippa United subsequently as he has now served out his one-match suspension.
