Super Eagles are taking special care of Kenneth Omeruo, who is the stand-in captain in the absence of Ahmed Musa and William Ekong, as he is nursing a minor injury.
Omeruo came off a bruising Istanbul derby against Galatasaray at the weekend.
He captained his club Kasimpasa in a 4-3 home loss to table toppers Galatasaray.
SCORENigeria learnt special precaution has been taken to ensure Omeruo is fully fit for tomorrow’s Jollof Derby versus perennial rivals Ghana.
He trained Wednesday apart from the main squad so as not to aggravate a slight injury.
Interim coach Finidi George is already without four players including Napoli star striker Victor Osimhen and Taiwo Awoniyi due to injury.
Tomorrow’s friendly against the Black Stars will kick off by 5pm Nigerian time at the Grande Stade de Marrekesh in Morocco.
