Arsenal manager Unai Emery has said he is delighted with the performance of 18-year-old Nigerian-Briton Bukayo Saka against Manchester United Monday night, adding he is getting better all the time.
“I think he’s working and improving, being mature and also playing matches in front of each player and each team as tonight (Monday) against Manchester United,” Emery told the Arsenal website
“But his work is natural and he is improving. He is helping us now as an important player.
“We are going to work with him with calm, with patience, but if he deserves to take minutes and to take confidence for helping us with his performance, that is fantastic for us.”
Saka made history as the youngest ever Arsenal player to start a game against Manchester United.
The youngster, who assisted Aubumeyang for equalizer to end the game 1-1, was denied a goal by Manchester United’s goalkeeper, De Gea.
