Goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali will be available for Super Eagles friendlies against Ghana and Mali later this month.
Nwabali was forced out of Saturday’s PSL clash at Mamelodi Sundowns to raise serious doubts about his availability for the friendlies, which will be staged in Marrakesh, Morocco, from March 22.
A source very close to the Chippa United shot stopper simply told SCORENigeria: “The injury is not serious.”
Chippa United goalkeeper Nwabali shone as the Super Eagles went all the way to the final of the delayed 2023 AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire recently.
He has been called for the forthcoming matches against Ghana and Mali as part of preparations for crucial 2026 World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin in June.
