Flying Eagles star Ibrahim Mohammed ‘Beji’ has finally ended a transfer saga that involved several Spanish clubs by signing for Slovenian club NK Celje.
Flying winger ‘Beji’ has signed a three-year contract with the Slovenian club.
It was from this Slovenian club that another one-time Flying Eagles striker Chukwubuikem Ikwuemesi transferred to Serie A club Salernitana.
‘Beji’ was for long associated with Spanish La Liga 2 club Cartagena after he had committed to a deal with another Spanish La Liga 2 club CD Leganes.
At the height of the saga, Lagos club Mavlon reportedly splashed $300,000 to sign the player with the hope of selling him to Europe for a huge profit.
