Gent did well not to sell any of their top stars in the summer, but they may need to do so in January to raise more money with Gift Orban the most likely to be sold.
It was reported that Gent rejected offers of around 20 Million Euros for the sensational 21-year-old striker in the summer.
This was because they could do with the cash from new owner Sam Baro and also because suitors did not match their valuation of the player, which was put at around 30 Million Euros.
Gent chairman Ivan De Witte has told Het Nieuwsblad that the opinion of Baro as well as coach Hein Vanhaezebrouck will be sought should the Belgian club decide to sell next month.
Gift Orban has been frustrated he is not starting games and his goals are now few and far between.
This may force Gent to let go the striker as his value on the transfer market could be affected by his tantrums.
His Transfermarkt value has remained at 20 Million Euros, but will drop significantly by the next update.
