Coach Rudi Garcia has boasted that even in the absence of Victor Osimhen, Napoli will parade a deadly strike force.
Napoli won 3-1 at Hellas Verona Saturday without their Nigerian striker, who will miss at least a month due to a hamstring injury suffered on Super Eagles duty.
Giacomo Raspadori led the Napoli attack in Osimhen’s absence.
“‘Jack’ (Raspadori) is good at tying the team together, and gives us the opportunity to balance the midfield,” coach Rudi Garcia told DAZN.
“We are lucky to have Victor Osimhen, Raspadori and Giovanni Simeone in this squad.
“It is better not to have any injuries, but I was calm because I know that we still have a lot of quality in the attack.”
Napoli have recorded 17 points in the opening nine rounds of Serie A to occupy fifth place in the standings.
