Alhassan Yusuf today added the Super Cup to his already impressive collection of the league championship and cup in Belgium.
His club Antwerp edged past KV Mechelen 5-4 on penalties after both teams were tied at 1-1 in regulation time.
The midfielder, who also previously won the cup in Sweden, played the entire game and was booked in the 55th minute.
Young striker George Ilenikhena, whose parents are Nigerian, was a late sub for Antwerp, while former Golden Eaglets winger Victor Udoh was an unused sub.
This was the curtain raiser to the new season in Belgium, which kicks off next weekend.
