Odion Ighalo has again underlined his class even at 33 years of age when he was named for the second straight year on the Team of the Season in the Saudi Arabian top league.
He scored 19 goals in the league and was the only Al Hilal player selected for this outgone season after Al Ittihad dethroned them as champions.
Ittihad had five players on the official Team of Season.
Last season, Ighalo was the league’s top scorer with 20 goals.
However, the former Super Eagles striker has quit the Riyadh club as his contract was not extended.
Interestingly, Cristiano Ronaldo did not make the Team of the season despite banging 14 goals in 19 appearances for Al Nassr.
