He may have been labeled as inconsistent and a show boater, but on his day Samuel Chukwueze is a top-class act as he showed with a Man-of-the-Match display against La Liga champions Real Madrid with his two well-taken goals including a stunning match winner at the weekend.

5.Odion Ighalo
The former Super Eagles striker is now the joint leading scorer in Saudi Arabia with 16 goals after his latest brace against Al Feyha, the club of fellow Nigeria striker Anthony Nwakaeme. His club may be faltering in their championship defence this season, but Ighalo remains on course to retain the Goal King crown he clinched last season with 20 goals.
4.Taofeek Ismaheel
The 22-year-old striker, who last season featured for Valerenga in Norway, came off the bench to score for SK Beveren in the promotion playoffs to the Belgian top league. Beveren thrashed Anderlecht 2 4-1 with Ismaheel grabbing his goal three minutes after he was introduced in the 77th minute. It was his first goal of the season and his club are pushing to return to the top flight.

3.Anthony Ujah
The former Super Eagles striker rolled back the years with a late match winner for home team Eintracht Braunschweig in the German Bundesliga 2. It was a vital win for his club as it lifted them two points clear of the relegation zone. The 32-year-old Ujah now has seven goals this season in the league.
2.Folarin Balogun
The Arsenal loanee is now the second leading scorer in Ligue 1 behind only Kylian Mbappe of PSG and Jonathan David from Lille after he salvaged a point for hosts Reims against Brest with a 90th equaliser via the penalty spot. He has so far netted 18 goals and his club, who have often struggled against relegation, are safely in the top half of the standings. It will be interesting where he goes next season because he has proved he can score goals at the highest level.

1.Samuel Chukwueze
‘Samu’ may not have killed it lately with the Super Eagles, but he has been on fire in La Liga with Villarreal and he proved this again at champions Real Madrid with a brace and Man of the Match gong. He later celebrated with a “God is the Greatest” tweet. He has now scored six goals in La Liga, while Villarreal are fifth on the table and could still aspire to get into the UEFA Champions League qualification bracket. Such form at club level ought to now convince some of the top clubs across Europe to splash out the cash for this exciting winger.
