The Golden Eaglets will resume training camp in Abuja Sunday after going on break for the general Elections, officials told SCORENigeria
The Eaglets under coach Nduka Ugbade are preparing for next month’s U17 AFCON in Algeria, which will also serve as qualifying tournament for the FIFA U17 World Cup later this year in Peru.
The immediate preoccupation for the five-time world champions will be the official MRI age-test for the players.
This was after players were ordered to do private age-test pending the official one by the NFF.
SCORENigeria has already reported that at least three key players failed the age test and will now need a second one to determine whether they will be eligible for the U17 AFCON next month.
There is a zero-tolerance for age cheats as a failed age test will automatically disqualify an entire team.
