The Flying Eagles will host fellow U20 AFCON qualifiers Zambia in a double-header warm-up tie preparatory to the continental tournament next month in Egypt.
The NFF announced today that the first test game will be on January 27 with the rematch three days later at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
This is much-needed litmus test for the Flying Eagles as they have been rampant against academy and youth teams in their build-up to the U20 AFCON.
Coach Ladan Bosso would have picked his final 21-man squad for the U20 AFCON before the first warm-up game against the Zambians, who emerged African champions in 2017 when the hosted the tournament.
The U20 AFCON will begin on February 19.
