This past week was a story of two super strikers – Paul Onuachu hitting four goals for table toppers Genk in Belgium and Victor Osimhen grabbing a goal and an assist for Napoli to also stay top in Serie A in Italy.

5.Olisa Ndah
The elegant Super Eagles defender won his first major trophy in South Africa – the MTN 8 – with Orlando Pirates. Ndah posted a clean sheet for the Soweto club to pip fellow PSL side Amazulu. It was the fourth time Pirates have won this cup competition and as such a new trophy will have to be created for the competition for next season. With recent fears in central defence, the NPFL champion with Akwa United ought to be given a second chance in the Super Eagles.
4.David Okereke
The Nigeria U23 star fired a stunning left-footed goal to ensure US Cremonese got a precious point at Salernitana. It was a brilliant strike and his third in Serie A this season as his promoted club continue to fight for their survival in the top league.
Two goals but let's agree that Okereke's banger forced our jaws wide open😯#SalernitanaCremonese pic.twitter.com/67rqUoGOo2

3.Rasheed Akanbi
The forward fired the match winner against Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho for Moldovan champions Sheriff to carry the day in the UEFA Europa League on the final day of the group stage. Sheriff and Akanbi will next feature in the UEFA Europa Conference League in the New Year.
2.Victor Osimhen
The Super Eagles star striker is now the most successful Nigerian player in Serie A after he got his 32nd goal in that league to go past Simeon Nwankwo. Osimhen is the leading scorer in the Italian top league with eight goals in nine appearances and Napoli are sitting pretty on the top of the standings after a big 2-1 win at fellow front runners Atalanta. At the rate he is buzzing, he will soon eclipse the 14 goals he scored last season to spark another round of interests from the top clubs across Europe come the transfer window in January.

1.Paul Onuachu
The giant Genk striker stole the show this past week when he scored all four goals for his club to beat Charleroi 4-1 at home. He has now got 12 goals in the bag and Genk have opened a huge gap at the top of the standings as they are now nine points clear of closest rivals Antwerp. Two seasons ago he netted 33 goals to finish as Goal King in the Jupiler Pro League and you cannot bet against him repeating the feat in this campaign. The Super Eagles cannot afford to continue to shut him out.
