Paul Onuachu has said Genk are confident going into Sunday’s league clash against closest rivals toppers Antwerp after they smashed past Westerlo 6-1 in midweek.
It will be first against second in Antwerp on Sunday.
Genk are top on 34 points from 13 matches, four points clear of Antwerp, who have a game in hand.
Antwerp lost their leadership after the 3-0 loss at Standard Liege at the weekend, but could partly make up for this defeat when they host troubled KV Ostende later today.
Onuachu scored twice in the trouncing of Westerlo and he has now scored six goals in his last four matches.
He has predicted an interesting match between the two front runners for the Belgian championship.
“We want to maintain our leadership position and move to Antwerp with confidence, because we are in a good momentum. It will be an interesting game on Sunday,” the giant striker told Het Laatste Nieuws
