FC Copenhagen announce Amoo out for rest of season

Akinkunmi Amoo will not see action for the rest of this season after he suffered a major knee injury, according to his Danish club FC Copenhagen.

The former Golden Eaglets star suffered the injury in a training match on Saturday.

Copenhagen doctor Morten Boesen will be out for between nine and 10 months.

“Amoo will now have a surgery, then rest and undergo rehabilitation,” he disclosed.

The exciting forward has battled with injuries since his transfer in January from Swedish club Hammarby.
