William d’Avila, who has brokered the transfer of several Super Eagles stars like Victor Osimhen, Ahmed Musa and Oghenekaro Etebo, is now pushing for free agent Anthony Nwakaeme to sign for Galatasaray.
D’Avila has a good relationship with ‘Gala’ having arranged three different loan spells for another Super Eagles forward Henry Onyekuru there.
After various speculations, Nwakaeme has yet to join a new club after he did not reach an agreement with Trabzonspor to extend his contract at the end of last season.
The Ankara club could not meet Nwakaeme’s financial demands.
He has since been linked to clubs in Saudi Arabia and even La Liga.
The 33-year-old forward scored 47 goals and provided 40 assists in 145 appearances for the Turkish champions.
