The Super Eagles are a better team than Ghana and it was an unfortunate accident that it will be the Black Stars who will be at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, according to coach Jose Peseiro.
In March, Ghana pipped arch-rivals Nigeria on the away goals rule to qualify for the World Cup.
However, the Super Eagles new coach Peseiro has insisted that his team are better than the Black Stars and ought to be one at Qatar 2022.
“I have a team with players who play in England, Italy, France, Spain, but unfortunately they didn’t beat Ghana to go to the World Cup,” Peseiro said in an interview.
“But I think it was an accident, I think Nigeria are better than Ghana.”
Peseiro has since taken over the Eagles following the World Cup disaster and has promised to lead the team to win a fourth AFCON title.
Super Eagles team at that time has a players in big leauges in Europe but hasn’t a coach who put a pattern of play and hasn’t a policy to unite them in a one man team ; coach Rhor has administrated Super Eagles for six years put he hasn’t put an imprint in this team and hasn’t made a team to play a total football attack all togather and defend all togather , but Eguavoen has changed positive something just like playing crossing kicks by wingers, and play in depth but neglect a defensive side which made Tunisia to shoot from distance without any defensive pressing or proper coverage, this error and mistake happened in Ghana match when Amartey shot from distance also then won a goal; so I recommend veteran coach Jose Pesiero to overhaul Super Eagles pattern of play with a real total football style of play espcially he must care of defensive midfield and center backs .
