Maduka Okoye is set to become the youngest No 1 goalkeeper of Watford since the Pozzo Brothers over the club, according to a report.
The Super Eagles shot stopper is 22 years and cost the club, who will play in the English Championship in the coming season after relegation from the Premier League, about five Million Pounds.
Watford owners, the Pozzos, have often preferred more experienced goalkeepers for their team, but they will now take a chance on Okoye as they aim for a prompt return to the Premier League.
Fellow Super Eagles William Ekong and Emmanuel Dennis are also at Watford.
