SCORENigeria rates the individual performances of the Super Eagles in their record-breaking 10-0 mauling of Sao Tome & Principe.
7 – Francis Uzoho
The goalkeeper kept a clean sheet after conceding goals in the last two Eagles matches vs Ghana and Sierra Leone. He has hardly troubled by the Sao Tome attack.
7 – Zaidu Sanusi
He again did well at left back, providing an assist for Terem Moffi to grab his brace. He still has a future in the Super Eagles particularly if Calvin Bassey is played at centre back.
7 – Ola Aina
Energetic as always from the right fullback position but he will unfortunately miss the team’s AFCON qualifier at home to Guinea Bissau after he bagged his second booking in the series.
7 – Calvin Bassey
Another solid showing by the Rangers defender. He showed his versatility by playing as a left-sided central defender in the absence of the injured William Ekong. He was considered ahead of the more experienced Kenneth Omeruo to partner Semi Ajayi in the heart of the back four.

7 Semi Ajayi
He kept his place in central defence to underline the confidence new coach Jose Peseiro has in the West Bromwich Albion. A competent display.
8 Oghenekaro Etebo
He stablised the midfield and put an icing on a solid performance with a sublime free kick goal.
7 Alex Iwobi
Again looked comfortable in the heart of the midfield and should continue in this role under this new coach.
8 Moses Simon
Captain on the day scored a goal and an assist to inspire a record-breaking win for Nigeria. He has been consistent for the Eagles in the qualifiers after he also provided two assists in the 2-1 home win over Sierra Leone last week.

7 Ademola Lookman
He justified his start with a goal and an assist. He looks to have quickly settled into the Eagles and a lot more is now expected of him.
8 Terem Moffi
The FC Lorient striker posted his best performance in a Super Eagles shirt with two well-taken goals. He is certainly part of the Super Eagles future despite the fierce competition among the strikers.
9 Victor Osimhen
Man of the Man with four goals and could have netted even more but for offside positioning. He has now scored 15 goals in 22 matches and at only 23 years of age, he is very much on course to breaking the all-time record of 37 goals set by the legendary Rashidi Yekini.
6 Shehu Abdullahi
A decent outing on a day the opposition did not provide much of a competition.
6 Ahmed Musa
Looked lively when he came on and was involved in a couple of the goals that buried Sao Tome.

6 Leon Balogun
He has lost his place in the first team and will now have to make do with a fringe role after he was the team’s most dependable defender for many years. He has to fix his club career soon after he was released by Rangers if he were to remain in the Eagles squad.
6 Emmanuel Dennis
The Watford winger finally opened his Eagles goals’ account after a handful of indifferent performances with the national team. That should boost his self-belief with the Super Eagles.
5 Sadiq Umar
He tried to get into the game and be among the goals feast following his late introduction, but he could not manage it. Moffi is now a step ahead of him in the race for who will partner Osimhen in the Eagles attack.
Super Eagles vs Sao Tome
