Former Flying Eagles winger Yira Sor headlined the performances of Nigerians in both the UEFA Europa League and Conference League with a brace for his new Czech club Slavia Praha to go past Turkish giants Fenerbache to the Round of 16 of the Conference League.
Slavia Praha edged past Fenerbache 3-2 at home to go through to the next round 6-4 on aggregate.
Scottish champions Rangers also made it to the next round of the Europa League with the help of their Nigerian contingent.
Defender Calvin Bassey provided an assist, while both Joe Aribo and fit-again Leon Balogun featured for Rangers to draw 2-2 at home with Borussia Dortmund.
Rangers thus progressed 6-4 on aggregate having won the first match in Germany 4-2.
Super Eagles leftback Zaidu Sanusi played from start to finish in a 2-2 draw with Lazio for Porto to go through in the Europa League 4-3 on aggregate.
However, Henry Onyekuru and his Greek club Olympiacos were not that fortunate after they were outclassed by Atalanta 5-1 on aggregate in the Europa League.
Another former Flying Eagles star Victor Boniface cruised to the Conference League Round of 16 with his Norwegian club Bodo/Glimt, who trounced Celtic 5-1 after two legs.
