This past weekend, Antwerp flew past KV Oostende 3-0 at home with Alhassan replacing Belgium international Radja Nainggolan after only seven minutes of action.
The 21-year-old midfielder has scored a goal and made two assists in nine appearances so far in the Belgian league this season.
Antwerp remain in second place on the table with 30 points from 16 matches, four points behind surprise leaders Union, who last season were playing in the second division.
