Genk will list Paul Onuachu for tomorrow’s UEFA Champions League third qualifying round at home against Shakhtar Donetsk and the Belgian club have also provided an update on the transfer situation of the striker.
Genk dropped the Goal King of Belgium for last weekend’s clash against KV Oostende with coach John Van den Brom admitting Onuachu was not ready to play.
However, the Dutch coach said the giant striker is on his squad against Shakhtar Donetsk
“He is available and is in the selection,” Van den Brom told Het Laatste Nieuws
“You will see tomorrow whether he will also start.”
In the meantime, Genk chairman Peter Croonen has spoken on the transfer situation surrounding Onuachu.
. “Until now there has been very little in this direction,” he said, while also admitting that “It makes Paul a bit nervous”, but has remained professional.
Genk are asking for 30 Million Euros for the 27-year-old striker, who still has three years left on his contract.
