Moses Simon has told SCORENigeria that he expects Guinea to provide a more physical test for the Super Eagles today than Burundi did at the weekend at the AFCON.
The Levante winger was an unused sub against Burundi, who matched the Eagles brawn for brawn and skill for skill before they fell to a late Odion Ighalo winner on Saturday.
“Guinea will be more physical than Burundi were,” Moses Simon predicted.
“They also have quality in their team – the captain (Ibrahima Traore) plays for Bundesliga club Borussia Monchengladblach and Naby Keita from Liverpool.
“But we will give our best to win so as to qualify for the next round of the tournament.”
Kick-off today at the Alexandria Stadium will be 3.30pm in Nigeria.
The former KAA Gent star also promised to improve on his performance at his La Liga club Levante.
“I hope to do what I didn’t do in my first season in La Liga,” vowed the quick winger, who has a five-year contract with the Spanish club.
