Ubong Ekpai has linked up with fellow Nigeria star Peter Olayinka at Czech champions Slavia Praha following the expiration of his contract with Viktoria Plzen.
Former U23 international Ekpai has signed a three-year contract.
He has also reunited with coach Jindrich Trpisovsky, who first worked with him at another Czech club, Slovan Liberec in the 2016/17 season.
The 25-year-old Ekpai said he cannot wait to get cracking with “the biggest team in Czech”.
“I am super excited for this chapter, Slavia are the biggest side in Czech with a great history, a very competitive side who aim to win titles every year and ambitions aligns with theirs,” he said.
“It’s true coach Jinrich played a key role in my choosing Slavia, I love him and he knows me in and out, he gave me my debut in the Czech Fortuna Liga.
“I can’t wait to get kicking for this great club.”
