The big question now is whether or not Sadiq Umar will stay put with UD Almeria in the Spanish second division after they crashed out of La Liga promotion playoffs tonight.
Almeria could not overturn the 3-0 loss they suffered at Girona Wednesday as they could only manage a goalless draw in the return leg at home tonight.
Sadiq finished the regular season with 20 goals, but failed to hit the back of the net in the promotion playoffs.
His goals have already sparked off interests from clubs in Spain and beyond.
And Almeria may now have no choice but to let him go even though he still has a couple more years left on his contract.
Sadiq had bought into the Almeria project with the hope they will soon be playing in the top league.
