Cyriel Dessers has described Belgian League Goal King Paul Onuachu as “unbelievable”, while also admitted he remains unsure about his future at Genk.
Dessers was the hero at the weekend when Genk won 1-0 at Anderlecht to keep their title aspirations alive.
It was his fifth goal since his four million Euros transfer from Dutch club Heracles in the summer.
However, he has had to play all season in the shadow of fellow Super Eagles striker Onuachu, who has thus far netted 33 goals in the league.
“What Onuachu has shown this season is unseen. He joined the team on match day three and since then he has broken all records here,” Dessers told Het Laatste Nieuws.
The striker also admitted he remains unsure of his future at Genk even after his heroics at the weekend.
“Yes, I had my doubts. And I cannot say that those doubts have now disappeared with that one goal,” he said.
