Genk have said they have not yet received the right offer for Belgian league Goal King Paul Onuachu.
Onuachu has so far fired 30 goals in the league amid speculations he will soon make a big-money transfer to a major league.
However, Genk sports director Dimitri De Conde said they are still waiting for the right offer for the centre-forward.
“Onuachu? He’s a top scorer, scoring 30 goals and turning 27. If a club puts an amount on the table that we cannot refuse, we will cooperate for a transfer,” he told HLN.
“At the moment that offer is not available.”
Genk paid six million Euros to sign Onuachu two years ago from Denmark and reports have suggested they expect to rake in at least 25 million Euros for the player now.
Interestingly, De Conde admitted former striker Ally Samatta is a transfer target, which could mean he is seen as a direct replacement for Onuachu.
